Dont think the Valve argument is valid as they took three of their own once PC only games and packaged them together for consoles. They didnt have to ugrade anything as it was already at its best for the time.

343 did an excellent job on remastering Halo CE into a proper HD remake.I also bought RE4 "HD" recently and found it practically an inuslt to the term "HD". May as well have been playing on a PS2 such was the poor effort made in upgrading the game. Totally put me off buying any other RE "HD" remakes.

As I said last week, if you are a Halo fan this is worth it and very enjoyable. If you are not a Halo fan then theres no point shelling out for it.
