Theres a way to do it, by simply takin a part of the pcb off your old drive andsticking it in the new one, heard a few lads talk about it on some modding forums

Yeah it looks like this is right. Just replacing the control board on the new drive will be a lot easier than trying to flash it. Should have the new drive by the end of the week so will fill you all in then.
